The Connecticut Police Force F Community Trust Liaison, Essex Resident Mounted Police Office, Three Towns Animal Control Officer and our local animal shelter residents "Tank" are in the Essex City Hall Auditorium (29 West Avenue, Essex) Help the pet shelter during this paw feast season from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, December 18th. Santa Claus will also take photos of pets on the spot!
The animal shelter urgently needs kitten food and cat food (any brand), cat litter and Purina dog food (please don't be old or useful). All donated pet food must be new and unopened. There will also be new and/or lightly used dog clothing, priced at $1 each (any size). The donation will benefit Presents for Paws, a 501c3 non-profit organization in East Haddam that distributes pet food and supplies to CT animal shelters (including our local shelters).
