OKMULGEE, Okla. — Last week Tulsa SPCA partnered with ‘Reservation Dogs’ crew members to provide free animal care in Okmulgee, where much of the first two seasons of the show were filmed.

They provided spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, heartworm testing, flea/tick/heartworm prevention medications and grooming such as baths, nail trims and hair cuts. They also gave out dog/cat food, cat litter and a variety of items like crates, cat trees and bowl sets.

Goodie bags with treats and t-shirts were also given out.

Tulsa SPCA said 27 people traveled a cumulative 1,335 miles to provide 211 hours of service for 116 animals.

They also gave thanks to Brit and Taylor Hensel, VFW Post 1189 and Crazy Eagle Media for helping make the event happen.
