AN appeal has been issued to animal lovers in Clydebank to help support animals in the care of the Scottish SPCA.

The charity is looking for kind-hearted residents to donate wood pellet cat litter for cats at their Dunbartonshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre.

Items can be directly dropped at the centre, purchased from their Amazon wishlist or via any other online retailer offering direct delivery.

Donations can be dropped at the centre’s reception between 1pm and 4pm daily. The centre is located on Dumbarton Road in Milton.

Centre assistant manager, Ally Bibby, said, “We are in need of wood pellet cat litter as we are currently caring for 36 cats.

“This cat litter helps to keep cats like Oliver feeling comfortable while they wait to find their forever homes.

“Your support means that we can continue to provide the best care for our animals at our centre.

“We’d be so grateful for any donations that people can spare and we know our cats will be too.”
